Il exprime les notes de griotte mûre, de prune noire, de mûre sauvage, de fraise de bois et de cerise rouge acidulée, associées à des notes de cannelle, de vanille, de noisette grillée (en fond), de menthe séchée et de réglisse. On y retrouve aussi des fines touches de violette et de pivoine. La bouche est délicate et soyeuse en attaque. Les tannins sont bien construits, fins, mais structurés, astringents en fin de bouche. Les saveurs sont juteuses, mûres et fruitées. On retrouve les notes de cerise bigarreau, de fraise de bois, de framboise, de mûre sauvage et de prune noire, associées à des touches de menthe séchée, de réglisse, une fine pointe de cacao et de café doux, ainsi quà un bouquet floral élégant (pétales de rose, violette).
