- 95 Punkte, VINOUS, Antonio Galloni: The 2019 Syrah Duvarita Vineyard is another standout from Ojai. Dense and layered, the Duvarita Syrah packs quite a punch. Bluepurplish fruit, licorice, menthol and lavender are all dialed up. The 2019 was done with fully destemmed fruit, and that comes through in its sheer density and purity of the fruit. - 94 Punkte JEB DUNNUCK: The 2019 Syrah Duvarita Vineyard is also terrific, with more up-front juicy blue fruits, violets, smoked meat, and peppery notes in a forward yet concentrated, soundly built, structured package. This started up with plenty of up-front fruit yet closed down slightly with time in the glass, so I think a year or two of bottle age are warranted. Regardless, I love its overall balance, and this is impressive. This classic Syrah will drink well for at least a decade. 2022-2032 ;
